Blunt Nerve Block Needles are manufactured with blunt needle tips. The needles are designed to help the clinician deliver medication to areas of the body without a sharp needle tip that cuts tissue, and therefore, comes with an increased risk for nerve damage or articular uptake. Epimed engineered the Blunt Nerve Block Needle to help reduce the risk of complications from acute and chronic pain that might be caused by a sharp needle tip. Blunt Nerve Block Needles feature a Coudé® or straight atraumatic distal tip, circular side opening for maximum flow rate, depth markings, and printed arrow on the hub, indicating direction of the curve and infusion port.
